so. hmmm. my friend told me to get a blogger account. i did. now what? does that count as a question brad/kurt? i dont think it does. so lets see.... well ill start out with this. i am currently taking ancient world history. its a great class. mr. walsh is a great teacher as you all know. (minus eli) it has really challenged my faith in old testament miracles though. like the flood. the bible says it covered the whole world and every mountain was covered. that means that the world would have to be covered to the top of mt. everest. now, i know that God could do that. i mean hes God, he can do what he wants. but did he do it or just the known world at the time (europe and whatnot) mr. walsh explained that it could have been very likely that a glacier melted and flooded all of civilization leaving few. just to let you know, i do not base my faith on the flood. because i question this does not mean i question God at all. i was just wondering if you think it could be a misinterpritation, an exageration, or if the entire world was actually covered. but i did find it interesting in that class that the first story ever recorded mentioned a great flood that killed everyone and the guy sent out ravens and doves to see if there was dry land yet.

interesting lol i think it covered everything. it says that all creatures will perish and i don't think that animals were contained in the civilized world or the world inhabited by people. I think they would have began to spread far and wide. thats just me
ReplyDeletedarn. stinken brad and his smarty pants answers. i thought i had at least a 2 comment question and you kill it right off the spot. its like killing someone right after they respawn in halo.
ReplyDeletelol. there can be other opinions or interpretations!
ReplyDeleteno, i think you pretty much closed the book on that one. fine, ill just have to think of a more elaborate and abstract question.... darn thought too hard. now my head hurts.
